First Time I’ve Seen This at a Vendor Event–Wonder if Batman’s in 3D

If you’re a Batman fan and live in Chicagoland, Dell and Sirius Computer Solutions are offering a Virtualization event where they are going to talk about virtualizing your Data Center, provide lunch, and then screen the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises.

This is unusual. Wonder if it’s in 3D (the movie that is, not the presentation)? Also unusual, no mention whether they will be providing popcorn and Coke.

It’s fairly common to combine business with pleasure. I’ve been to vendor events at Sporting Events, including SkyBoxes at Wrigley Field where I met Fergie Jenkins, but this is the first time I’ve heard of combining a movie screening with a customer pitch.

Interesting. I wonder what attendance will be like for this. Of course, there may be some bad puns and imagery for a combo like this.
