Partnerworld: IBM to Reward BPs and Distributors for Selling Hardware/Software Bundles

From PartnerWorld, IBM Channel Marketer Jacqi Levy blogged that Big Blue just announced a new Solutions Accelerator Initiative, that “rewards the simultaneous sale by IBM Business Partners of eligible IBM servers and/or storage products with eligible IBM software products.”

Program includes a base incentive for selling eligible IBM hardware and software together plus a bonus incentive for selling predefined bundles.

Another program called the Solutions Accelerator Initiative for Distributors was also announced, which rewards distributors for creating their own bundled offerings and delivering the solutions to market.

Unclear how this will affect IBM i hardware/software marketing as the link to view more information about the programs, plus eligible products, was broken.
