What does it mean when your LinkedIn profile is 100% complete?

100 percent clubI just added some skills to my LinkedIn profile. Now LinkedIn is telling me my profile is 100% complete.

I’m so proud. For a while there, I thought I’d just be dangling at 85% forever, along with all the other nerdy 85% kids.

Only thing is: I have no idea what this means. Have I just joined some kind of special LinkedIn club. If so, what kind of clothes do I wear to the meetings and more importantly, do they serve food? Are there any special LinkedIn benefits that I now automatically qualify for or does the LinkedIn engine treat my information any differently? I’m intrigued, curious, and hungry at the same time (I mean it, I could use a snack).

Seriously, if anyone knows what the criteria is for having a 100% certified LinkedIn profile and why anyone should care, please let me know. You can either comment on this article or email me I’m dying to know.
